Suzanne Cameron

Suzanne Cameron, owner

Suzanne Cameron was born in New York City, where fine food and culinary talent inspired her at an early age. She graduated from college with a BFA in Ceramics and moved to a small town in the Aleutian Islands, where her professional cooking life began. Honing her skills as a kitchen manager at oil exploration camps and a seafood cannery, Suzanne developed a love for food and feeding people. Her experience in Alaska inspired her to advance in the culinary world.

Suzanne opened and owned a deli and catering service based in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle. After growing and selling the business, she took a hiatus from the food world to spend time as an artist and teacher for Seattle Public Schools. Ten years later, Suzanne joined forces with a fellow food enthusiast and founded Cameron Catering. As the chef and owner of Cameron Catering, she aligns her concern for the environment and sustainable food production with her artistic talents and presentation skills.

Suzanne is also co-president of the Washington chapter of the American Parkinson’s Disease Association, where she’s known for her famous macaroons, fabulous fundraisers, and infinite devotion to the cause.
